Operations Manager – Freight Forwarding & Logistics
Full TimeSygnius Global Logistics is looking for an experienced and dynamic Operations Manager to join our growing team. If you are passionate about logistics, thrive in a fast-paced environment, and have a proven track record in freight forwarding operations, we would love to hear from you.
- Manage end-to-end operations for international air and ocean import/export shipments.
- Coordinate with shipping lines, airlines, overseas agents, transporters, customs brokers, warehouses and customers.
- Ensure timely execution of shipments while maintaining high service standards.
- Monitor shipment milestones, proactively resolve operational issues, and provide regular updates to customers.
- Negotiate with carriers and service providers to optimize costs and service levels.
- Ensure compliance with customs regulations, DGFT guidelines and company SOPs.
- Lead, mentor and develop the operations team while driving continuous process improvements.
- Work closely with the Sales and Customer Service teams to deliver seamless logistics solutions.
- Monitor operational KPIs and implement initiatives to improve efficiency, profitability and customer satisfaction.
- Leverage our Logi-Sys ERP platform to enhance operational visibility, accuracy and process efficiency.
- Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Commerce, Business Administration or a related field.
- Professional certifications in Logistics, Supply Chain Management or Customs & Freight Forwarding will be an added advantage.
- 5–8 years of relevant experience in freight forwarding, international logistics or supply chain management.
- Hands-on experience handling Air Freight, Ocean Freight (FCL/LCL), Customs Clearance and Transportation.
- Experience working on Logi-Sys ERP or similar freight forwarding ERP systems is preferred.
- Strong understanding of international shipping documentation, Incoterms, customs procedures and carrier operations.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, leadership and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining exceptional customer service.
- Existing relationships with shipping lines, airlines and logistics service providers will be an added advantage.
- CTC: ₹8–12 lakh per annum (commensurate with experience and qualifications) plus performance incentives.
